I have a couple of 6K reels that I am looking for a good home for.
They are marked "INFLIGHT" on both reels and have a 3" opening in the middle. I would be glad to forward you a picture if you are interested. $45.00 plus shipping and they are yours.

Welcome to the Forum! The original thread date is 12-28-02. My guess would be that the reels in question are long gone. However, give it time and I'm sure you'll be able to find the items that you're looking for. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I have one of those 6k "airline" reels, you'll need to mod them to fit in a standard mount. You can take an old 6" reel and have it welded (or bolt it on). I'll sell it to you if your interested, BUT let me tell you that since then I've been able to purchase about 12 regular non-airline, Goldberg I think for about the same price ($50ea.) just keep your eyes open. I'd hate to see you go through all the retro-fit work just to make it work.

Hey Aaron, been away for quite a while and just happened to see this thread.
Anyway, kept the reels in storage for awhile then in a mad fit of clean the damn storage building out I set them on the side of the street and the next day they were gone. :(
In any case I am slowly trying to start back up in the hobby and would love to have my reels back :D

Anyway, I hope you find a pair.
