HELP! We are a non-profit Archive trying to locate and preserve original dual-strip prints of Polaroid 3-D films from the 1950's. If you have ever come across 35mm prints (either left or right side) of the following titles, please let us know. Keep in mind that either side would appear to be a perfectly normal flat movie. There would be no double-image on the film whatsoever.
The Bounty Hunter - Randolph Scott
Cease Fire (1953 Korean War)
Devil's Canyon - Dale Robertson
Dial M for Murder - Ray Milland
The Diamond Wizard - Dennis O'Keefe
Dragonfly Squadron - John Hodiak
Drums of Tahiti - Dennis O'Keefe
The French Line - Jane Russell
Gorilla at Large - Cameron Mitchell
Hannah Lee (a.k.a. Outlaw Territory) - MacDonald Carey
Hondo - John Wayne
I the Jury (1953) - Biff Elliot
Jesse James vs. the Daltons - Brett King
Jivaro - Fernando Lamas
Kiss Me Kate - Kathryn Grayson
Louisiana Territory - Mardi Gras documentary
The Moonlighter - Barbara Stanwyck
The Nebraskan - Phil Carey
Sangaree - Fernando Lamas
September Storm - Joanne Dru
Son of Sinbad (non-Superscope only) - Dale Robertson
Southwest Passage - Rod Cameron
The Stranger Wore a Gun - Randolph Scott
Taza, Son of Cochise - Rock Hudson
Those Redheads from Seattle - Rhonda Fleming
Top Banana - Phil Silvers
Wings of the Hawk - Van Heflin
We are also looking for the following shorts/cartoons:
Bandit Island (Lippert) - Lon Chaney
Carmenesque (Sol Lesser Productions) Lili St. Cyr
Carnival in April (Universal musical) - Carlos Molina Orchestra
College Capers (Lippert) - Dolores Fuller
A Day in the Country (Lippert) - Joe Besser
Doom Town (atom bomb testing in Nevada)
Hawaiian Nights (Universal) - Pinky Lee
Lumber Jack-Rabbit (Warner Bros.) - Bugs Bunny
Pardon My Backfire (Columbia) - 3 Stooges
Popeye: the Ace of Space (Paramount)
Rocky Marciano vs. Jersey Joe Walcott (boxing newsreel - United Artists)
Spooks (Columbia) - 3 Stooges
Please keep this list on file, and circulate it among any fellow collectors, especially those who may not be on-line. By helping us to locate (and recombine) separated left/right 35mm copies of these 3-D films, you may be helping to preserve the last surviving dual-strip Polaroid 3-D prints. Thank you very much!
