I must change the claw of my EIKI ST/2H but I can't find it in France.
I was told the models for EIKI ST/2H we have in France don't fit for my projector.

Can anyone explain how it is possible to find different a claw for the same projector model and how to buy a new one that will fit .

thanks a lot

The claw used on the ST is different than the later claws used on the NT etc and so a replacement for a NT will not fit properly.

You might have your local distributor contact Eiki directly since at one time the US division had a large number of complete ST cam tanks they had pulled from trade-in machines to use as exchange parts. If these were returned to Japan, then Eiki may be able to supply the part. Since it's so small, international Air Mail won't amount to much money.

The only extra claw I have is on a MS-860 cam tank assembly so is totally out of the question as far as cost and shipping is concerned (it'd be more than the ST is worth).

When you order the claw, also order the service claw screws which are very slightly larger than the original with a coarser thread to hold better in the aluminum claw lever and use a thread lock sealant when you install the screws.

The part number is ST-11191 and used to cost $9.67US in 1980.

Good luck.
