Does anyone have any 16mm George Burns and Gracie Allen films for sale?
I'm looking for
-- The short subjects they did in the 1930s, I believe for Paramount (TV prints are fine)
-- Episodes from their TV Series
-- Features they did
Email me at : sts@sigel.net if you have anything with titles and prices --
Thanks!!

No 16mm films, but do you have the Universal DVD triple feature: Six of a Kind (1934), Here Comes Cookie (1935) Love in Bloom (1935)?
They are OUTSTANDING quality prints!!
They also show up on some of the Universal DVD Bob Hope pics from the late 1930s.

Hi Evan,
Yep - I have that DVD on order....
What I'm looking for most are the 1930s Paramount shorts - so far I've found one of them ......

Did you receive your B&A DVD? Was I right about the quality?

Hi Evan,
I watched "Here Comes Cookie" the other night -- quality was very good -- only complaint was some weird video effect on bright spots ..... Otherwise looked very nice - even blow up to 9ft high...

I love old movies, but critically, the only one of the three on that dvd that I enjoyed was "Love In Bloom" For some reason back in the 30s, Paramount had lots of annoying characters in their films, like the difficult-to-take role Gracie has in "Here Comes Cookie".
"Six of a Kind" had some great moments, but the annoying Charlie Ruggles really put a damper on proceedings....W.C. Fields part was actually rather witty if restrained...I usually don't care much for him in pictures. They retrieved some absolutely gorgeous prints from the archive!!
