I'm looking for 35mm black and white westerns that I remember from the Saturday Matinee in the 1950's. Also any serials that might have been shown then. Marvin Weber

Are you interested in 16mm? or just 35mm? I've got a ton of 16mm westerns available both B&W and color...

Steve-I just got a Super Simplex like was used in my local theatre and would like to be able to show some western films that I have such fond memories of. So I need 35mm to help me revive my youth.

There were some recent posts on the forum about 35mm westerns and serial chapters for sale or recently found. Check back in the list of posts.
Of course, beware of nitrate base 35mm film. It is very dangerous, especially in a home situation. Also beware of vinegar smelling prints--at one time I had some great B-westerns that literally gummed up with vinegar syndrome.
There are a number of dealers in The Big Reel magazine that sell 35mm classics. Be prepared to spend a lot of money for anything from the timeframe you mentioned.
I used to have a large 35mm collection of B-Westerns, shorts and serials--I know they are still out there.
