I need a 16mm roller for a home-built 6k reel drive that will fit over a 5/16" reel arm shaft. Eiki sold these with their long-play pedesdal so the arms could be used as film guides. Anyone?
Please reply to gordon@scsra.org. Thanks.

Hi Gordon et al,
This is a very interesting topic to me and possible others. I have only seen one home built unit, Greg Muellers 35mm LP system on a Norelco 35/70 system. This unit is built from DC motors using a manual feeder arm to adjust the tension based on a Cinemeccanica tower design with a home built MUTT. You can see the pics at *********.com / pictures.
I've been thinking about building a system based off an Eprad 50000 or the Cinemeccanica DGB 2x4, what is your design? Do you have a web site or pictures to share? What about the rest of us, can anyone else share thier success stories and or photos / issue of buidling a customer film transport system?

Once I find the roller I am looking for, I will post a photo and some details. :)

Would the rollers used in Bolex cameras when a 400-foot magazine is attached work? These fit over the normal spool spindles in the camera body so that when the film comes down from the the magazine it doesn't rub against the spindles.
