Hi,

I am not sure exactly what I am looking for, but I would like to play 6000ft reels. I have heard of extended arms, etc. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom McGill

Hi: About extended arms I only know for Bauer, Eiki and Siemens. All are specific for a projector brand and are rare and very difficult to find. If you look at the forum, last year there was a guy who built a universal long play system and put a pair of pics of it. I remember that he was able to make one for any person who wished to buy it. Here are the links:

As you can see the price was $700. From time to time thereīs an Eiki or Elmo Long Play Unit on Ebay and I saw a Prevost made system for only $200 but you had to pick it up in Belgium. I donīt know which projector you have but I have custom made built in long play systems for Elmo 16CL and Eiki projectors but I will have to do some pics of them. With imagination you can do it for your self if you are good with "bricolage". I can give you some ideas if you tell which projector or projectors you have and if you want it for any specifical brand or for universal use.

Another choice is buying a pedestal projector with 6000 feet reel arms.
Now on Ebay thereīs a Siemens but in Europe in mint condition with long reel arms.
