Linda,

Actually, looking at the hair I think you're right it's not Postell who had a crew cut. It might be Brendan's.

I think it is you Rich, not Brendan. He is taller than you are.

Lighting, anyone?

Ok - Rich wore a black dress shirt and the sleeves were rolled up to his elbows. Brendan had on a white t-shirt that day.

Linda,

Yes, if you can make it, I'll be playing at the 500 Club in Atlantic City for the next two weeks. I'll even send you a free pass if you can get there!

Wow! I am impressed. I so wish I had free time to go down to AC and hear you sing!
Whose songs do you focus on?? Sinatra??

I am told Mr. Theakston lends his golden throat to many Sinatra standards: but those of Frank Junior, not senior.

i know i am new to the club, but i have to say some thing, first off i like the light idea it shows you on line, that helps to find some one to talk to about film equipment or dvd what ever,2nd i have to agree with alot of the others as far as the point system it like the state keeping track of you with your lic!
you get to many they take them away is this whats going on here??

thanks Ron

Hi Ron!
Be rest assured, the point system has not been effective for many months now so there is nothing to worry about.
And yes, I too like when we can see who else is on efilm forum.

This is absolutely the most interesting thread here. I'd use color myself but mauve and puce aren't available. And what about putty? Bette Midler said "I love putty" in Get Shorty, but it's not available either.

BTW, if you just highlight yellow and other light colors they pop right out.

Can I start correcting peoples' lame grammar and spelling over here too?

Good to see that we at least agree on something, Jim.

Greetings, Jim! I am glad that we can entertain you on all aspects of life and film.

Anyone notice that this site was unavailable this morning due to "mainteance"? WTF is that?

Is it true that people who are sloppy, inattentive or don't care about spelling and grammar treat their film collecting habit the same way? I can often judge the condition of a print I buy and the care it will be shipped by the quality of writing of the seller. Has anyone else found this to be true?

Maintenace is used by Dave Harris for software updates and backups.

As for grammar - people all have some problems in grammar so I would not make comments unless one is perfect (and that is unlikely).

I think that's a shallow way to measure a person's ability to care for objects. A person may be well spoken, read, and written, but he may be a slob in his personal life. I've known many such people.
Then there are the formally uneducated who are meticulous with their possessions.
