Anyone coming to Detroit for the Super Bowl? I can help you out with a bullet proof vest to help make your visit a safe one! I also have a friend looking to rent out two apartments in one of the better area's of Detroit...Ah Hem, cough, cough. I think he wants $1000 a week as there are no vacancies left. I'm also thinking of setting up a Tour Guide service to visit the ravaged area's of our fair city that look like a war zone! Very interseting stuff. I'm just kidding of course, it's not really that bad here. Your chances of getting killed are only slightly higher than in Iraq. Iraq is a big country and Detroit has a population of just under one million. It used to be over two million, but then came Mayor Colman Young, may he rest in peace! The slogan used to be "will the last one to leave the city of Detroit please shut off the lights." Seriously though, they've done a lot of work to prepare for the Super Bowl and it should be a lot of fun! The music here is awesome and there is going to be a lot of it. I know Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Mark Farner(Grand Funk Railroad) are playing for free. I plan on attending those concerts. We got parties everywhere planned and there's the winter fest being held downtown. If you like to gamble we have three casino's and another on across the river in Canada. By the way, the topless bar's in Canada are also bottomless! They are known as the Windsor Ballet. There is really a lot of things to do here, we had to make it like this to keep our minds off of the weather.
