Finally uploaded a picture after all these years--also did on the 35mm forum.

Picture taken last night at the 1921 Ohio Theatre here in Toledo. I'm guest projectionist tonight at midnight for a showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The booth is equipped with a pair of Century C 35mm projectors with Strong 90 amp arc lamps. Other than a gorgeous woman, I can't think of anything better to have my picture taken with!

And Ken Layton--you are so right----Carbon Arc -- the light that's bright, the light's that right!

What size are those reels? I can't tell if they're 4,000 ft. or 6,000 ft.? NICE SETUP!!!:confused: :D

6000 ft. The projectors were converted in the 50s for two strip 3D. I don't think you could still run 3D, though, the interlock was taken off a few years ago.

Ran the picture last night...the lamps performed well...positive carbon is about 2 feet long--over an hour run time. 90 amp lamps require the projector heads to be water cooled...
