Glad to see the site is back up and running. :)
I'm not sure if this has anything to do with yesterday's problems, but my user CP has my thread viewing preference set to Linear, but when I open threads now they display in Hybrid mode. I have to click "Display Modes" and "Linear" for EACH thread to get them to display correctly, and the setting doesn't carry over to the next thread.
Is anybody else seeing this?

I'm not sure how to tell what your asking about. Symptoms? What is "hybrid" vs "linear" mode?

I alsop am confused on what you mean, Michael.
However, I am having no difficulty in how the threads are displaying.

Hi Guys,
Rather than ask me to describe it - why not just click the "Display Modes" button on the thread toolbar above and see for yourself the differences between Linear, Threaded and Hybrid modes?
In a nutshell, Hybrid consolidates all of the previously viewed posts into a single "box" at the top of the thread in "threaded" mode with the unread posts appearing in "linear" mode. I find it annoying because the newly posted item might be in response to a prior post which I cannot see, for example someone might post "Yeah, that's right" in response to a question - but WHAT WAS THE QUESTION? You need to open the prior posts to find out, unless they are already displayed in Linear mode.

My preferences are set to Linear, but the forums are displaying in Hybrid.
This is what a Hybrid screen looks like (note the collapsed thread posts at the top in their own "box"):

Yikes Michael!
I am seeing the forum displayed in "Linear".
I wonder why yours is coming up as"hybrid"??

Mike, Mine is showing linear as usual on all threads - I always have it on linear.
Just now I switched the mode to hybrid and navigated around and it held the mode.. and now, again I've changed it back to linear, and it's fine.
In other words, everything is working fine on my end

Yea Mike, same here. Mine is staying in Linear, which I guess is what it's always been. I've never used that thread mode control before.

Mike... I don't mean to alarm you, but have you ever been a victim of alien abduction?... I recall reading something about aliens and hybrids.. there might be a connection

Looks like it's just me, probably a bad cookie. :)

I just deleted all eFilmForum.com cookies and the problem disappeared. If you are having this problem just delete any cookies that contain 'efilmforum.com' in the name (there may be more than one).
