I would like to buy a 3-D short, trailer, or some example of a low cost 3-D film. 16 mm is better, but 8 or Super 8 is OK.

I just want to see what a sample looks like on my home projection set up. If the bug bites me, then I'll look for a feature lenght movie to buy.

Any tips on 3-D apperciated!

Thanks

Be really careful with anaglyphic 3-D prints -- if they were printed on Eastman stock and have faded, the 3-D effect wont work anymore...

Hi,

you should search eBay for these two Super8-films (links lead to screenshots, ... of the German version by Piccolo, the English title is mentioned in brakets - the English films have been released by Universal 8):
"Gefahr aus dem Weltall" (http://www.super-8-hobby.de/rezent194.htm) ("It Came From Outer Space")
Der Schrecken vom Amazonas (http://www.super-8-hobby.de/rezent193.htm) ("The Creature From The Black Lagoon")
You'll have to wear one of those red-green-3D-glasses for the 3D-effect.

There might be other films that work with those glasses.

Of course you might found some Bolex/Elmo/whatever "frame splitters" that allow 3D-filming and -projecting:
