The Landmark Loews Jersey Theatre on Journal Square in Jersey City, NJ is proud to continue it's tradition of classic films in a classic theatre on Friday April 28th and Saturday April 29th with a salute to director John Ford.
All films are being shown in 35mm.
Friday.....8pm......Stagecoach – 1939, John Wayne.
Saturday 2pm......The Grapes Of Wrath – 1940, Henry Fonda
Saturday 5pm......The Whole Town’s Talking – 1935, Edward G. Robinson
Saturday 8:15pm..The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence – 1962, John Wayne

The Loews Jersey is located on Journal Square directly across the street from the PATH subway station connecting Manhattan with Jersey City, and just minutes from the New Jersey Turnpike, Route's 1 & 9, and Route 3. Built in 1929, the theatre still features carbon arc projection, stereo sound, and a huge 50 foot screen. The Loews Jersey is operated by Friends Of The Loews, a non-profit volunteer organization that is dedicated to restoring the theatre to it's former glory. Do to the hard work of past and present volunteers, the Loews Jersey has become New Jersey's number one destination for classic film programming.
