Looking to buy any Doctor Who 16mm/35mm print (or 2" Quad videotape).

Also, 50s and 60s TV shows (particularly kinescopes).

Please email me if you have any of this material.

Especially if it's one the 108 missing Doctor Who episodes? If only I had!

Sammy --

I have a 16mm print of a Doctor Who episode available. It's called "Battle of Wits" and is episode 3 from "The Time Meddler". Price would be $999

As for 50/60s TV shows -- what sort of shows are you looking for? I have dozens of them.

Steve,

Your price on the Who is a bit high for me, but I really just wanted to know what was available out there...No lost episodes apparently...

As far as other shows, I'm interested in Jackie Gleason, Jack Benny, Colgate Comedy Hour...Do you have a list of things like that?

Thanks,
Sammy

Hi Sammy,

Dr. Who on 16mm film is extremely rare. You might be able to find one of a handful of dupe prints that were made in the 1980s that are floating around (I think there are 5 or 6 episodes that somoene got ahold of at the time) - those seem to go for $600 or so on ebay when they turn up. Apart from those, you're not likely to find any others unless you get really lucky.

I have a "Jack Benny" show with Gisele MacKenzie available for $99

Steve,

I'm a regular visitor to the RT Forum, and I've seen your name there, so I guess we both know how rare those are!

I've got that Jack Benny on DVD. Anything else?

Sammy
