I'm a motion picture editor, currently working in motion picture advertising: trailers & tv commericials. You know... "The guy who takes 'all the best parts of the movie and puts them together'". Trust me...it's NOT as simple as that!

Dave,

I am a nightclub DJ here in Indiana. House music, rap/r&b, typical nightclub stuff. My main job right now is a place called hooligans in merrillville. Biggest club in Northwest Indiana. I did go to college for radio ,but, 1. I am slacker and screwed up my college career. 2. I found I enjoyed the ngihtclub scene MUCH more after I learned how to beatmix.

I am usually working during most of your airshift but may be able to catch the early part of your shift. Of all the classic rock stations, The Drive is usually the best.

I've been a Road Warrior for the past 43 years. Currently I have my own sales agency - Carr Sales & Marketing, Inc. - representing companies in the pet supply industry.

Someday, I may retire, but I enjoy what I am doing (most of the time). Dealing with travel gets a little hectic at times.

When I do retire, I've got my film hobby that will keep me busy for a long time.

I am a chief broadcast engineer for a small radio station cluster here in northern California. Part of the Family Radio network. I have 5 radio stations under my technical "wing" and I am the only guy doing it. From Sacramento to Chico to Ukiah, CA. Keeps me busy in that one of the stations is a six tower directional AM site that drifts it's pattern all the time and has a cranky Gates/Harris transmitter (Dave might know what I am talking about, here). Well, it's a living.

Jim L.

I'm Vice President for Public Relations at the National Retail Federation, the federal lobbying group for the retail industry, in Washington, DC. Before that I was a press secretary on Capitol Hill and before that a reporter, mostly covering statehouse politics (Maryland, then Delaware then New Jersey) for United Press International and several small newspapers. But my first paying job as a teenager was as projectionist for a film series at the local library in Cambridge, MD back in the mid-70s.

My first paying job as a teenager also was as a projectionist in our local fleapit. I did love those days, but didn't pay much. It was beer money while attending dental school.
