Hello everyone,
Have just joined the Forum in the hopes of contributing as well as receiving help and advice generally in the cinematographic world.
I am a professional electrical power engineer with my own business, so I hope to be able to assist any members who might have an electrical problem from time to time.
With kindest regards to all,
Dave.

It must be another British invasion. Just in time! I'm currently working on restoring two projectors and I may need some electrical help. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome, David - While I'm more a film collector, who knows, I may have need of your expertise! - Cheers and God Bless, Shorty;)

Hey - don't make me come over there and kick your arse at cricket ;-)

Stuart, I feel that even a couple of school kids could play better cricket than the current England International 'so-called' team, which has really set new standards in how to play really atrocious cricket.

Peter, you've hit the nail on the head. Every time they go out on the pitch they set themselves a new low. It's like they've just totally given up. Having Flintoff as captain was a terrible idea, like when we had Botham as skipper. Good players but dreadful captains. And to have Duncan Fletcher coming out to apologise after the latest debacle? Well, as Vizzini says in the Princess Bride: "Inconceivable!".

Well, that said, there is very little chance of you coming over here to kick my arse at cricket, especially as I rather loathe the game - far too slow for my liking.
