Looking for the beginning of Hoppity goes to town 1941 cartoon.I ended up with the remaining 2000+ft for a song and dance on ebay and would like to complete it. Or even just the beginning credits,if I cut another minute or so out there is still a decent story line.
Also looking for comedy shorts and maybe some comedy features.I have started doing free shows for nursing homes and the shorts seem to work best for keeping their attention.Cartoons and music clips from the 40's
And for the other free gig, Lost weekend with ray miland or any AA related movies such as My Name is Bill W.. Not so much on the educational ones as I have a stack of library prints,EXCEPT for directly AA related or Father Martin / Chalk Talk films.I do already have Chalk Talk on Alcoholism but looking for others.
silent comedy shorts,they can have a sound track but I turn off the sound and use the crank Victrola and 20's dance records.So I geuss you could call it a multi media experience.
Pete Seeger the folk singer,I recently saw an awesome documentary on him and would love to get some films of him to share.
Now for the quailty of prints.WHat I'm looking for does not have to be mint,splice free or perfect color as I do not have a lot of money.I try to atleast pick something up once every paycheck(2 weeks).ANd I do some selling on ebay to help fund this. IF you have something real nice that you want good fair market value still let me know and if I can use it we can make short term arrangements.
